Frequently asked questions
What is FeedSense?
FeedSense is a private recommendation app that processes, summarizes, and recommends content exclusively from sources you choose — RSS feeds, YouTube channels, OPML files, and more. Unlike traditional platforms, nothing outside your chosen sources ever gets in.
Does FeedSense collect my data?
FeedSense is designed with privacy at its core. Your data is used solely to provide the service — syncing sources and powering recommendations. We never sell your data, share it for advertising, or build profiles for third parties.
What content sources are supported?
FeedSense supports RSS, Atom, and JSON feeds, YouTube channels, and OPML file imports. You can also scan a QR code to instantly import a curated collection of sources shared by a friend.
Which languages are supported for translation?
FeedSense can summarize and translate articles into English, Chinese, Japanese, French, and Spanish. More languages are on the way.
How does the For You recommendation work?
The For You feed learns what you find interesting based on your reading behavior and recommends relevant content. It only draws from sources you have explicitly added — no outside content is ever injected.
How does QR code sharing work?
You can generate a QR code that packages your curated source list. When a friend scans it with FeedSense, all those sources are imported instantly — no manual setup needed. The QR code is valid for 7 days.
Is FeedSense free?
FeedSense is free to download and use with core features. Some advanced features like AI-powered summaries and translation may require a subscription.
Which platforms are supported?
FeedSense is available on the App Store for iOS. Support for Android and other platforms is planned for the future.
Take back control of your information world.
No algorithms deciding what you see. No ads. No noise. Just the sources you trust, summarized and recommended — on your terms.
